At this time we only serve young men.
-
The program takes place outside of school hours- middle schoolers meet after school two days/week, and high schoolers meet on Sundays during the school year. In addition, we operate a five-week summer camp each summer.
-
NOU holds all programming at our headquarters, Base Camp at Belvedere Square, 5911 York Road, Suite 300, Baltimore, MD 21212
-
Young men who attend public or private schools in Baltimore City or County and who are in the 6th-9th grade are welcome to apply.
-
NOU staff communicate with participants and families through the Remind App, which all participants and guardians are required to download and use regularly.
-
We currently serve 176 young men in Baltimore, and cap each class size at 25 participants. Each year we recruit more promising young people. Unfortunately, we receive many more applications than we can admit to the program.
